Orange Slice and Lime Wedge -
Kiwi & Orange Lucy and her husband were part of a show called 'Partners' at Frog Hollow in Burlington, Vermont. This was for couples who are both artists with one person being represented by Frog Hollow. Lucy was the Juror of Awards for the 7th Annual Northeast National Pastel Exhibition which hangs from May 14 - June 26 at the Arts Center in Old Forge, NY. Lucy led the Artists' Walkabout on the morning after the opening. This was a group discussion covering a wide range of topics using original artwork from the the 2011 show as subject matter. Lucy was among four pastel still life artists exhibiting at the Tom Myott Gallery in Glens Falls, NY. 'Four Views: The Still Life in Pastel'included the work of three other Pastel Society of America signature members: Robert Carsten, PSA, David Francis, PSA and Patricia Tribastone, PSA. Lucy's piece 'Pear & Shadow' is in the International Association of Pastel Societies 2010 Web Exhibition. click to see Lucy's paintings received the Voter's Choice for Pastel at the 20th Annual Art in the Round Barn show in Waitsfield, VT Lucy's piece 'Kiwi & Orange' was at the 6th Annual Northeast National Pastel Exhibition at the Arts Center in Old Forge, NY, and is featured on the catalog cover in addition to receiving an award. Lucy's work can be seen in Best of American Artists - Pastel Vol. II. Lucy's paintings 'Rorschach Landscape' and 'Lake Sunset' were both juried into the Paint America 2nd 100. That makes three years in a row that Lucy's paintings have been in Paint America.
